Today Cal got into an argument with Sparky, my friend Gina's dog. I brought her over to her house to drop off a gift and Gina said it would be a good idea for them to meet. We were outside the house the whole time, and at first when Sparky came out, it seemed like they were going to be fine. But as fast as you could blink, someone looked at someone else the wrong way and there was a tangle of gnashing teeth and snarls and snaps. Sparky snuck out of her collar which made it harder for Gina to catch her, but we finally got her off Cali and separated the two of them. Cal was a little taken aback I think since she has never "fought" with another dog that seriously before, but they both ended up being ok and very sleepy.
